The Town Hall - Civic Leadership Day
Hosted at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus, this daylong event invites high school students to strengthen their leadership skills and discover how they can actively participate in civic life.
The goal of Civic Leadership Day is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and network needed to become leaders in their communities. After the event, students will spend four weeks identifying an issue in their community and crafting a solution. They will work with mentors who provide virtual guidance and support through the process. Students return to Fordham University to present their solutions and share their ideas with local council members, community leaders, and activists.
For questions, contact civics@thetownhall.org.

Decorated bags and handwritten notes are at the heart of our mission to reduce food insecurity and isolation among Asian American Elders living in significantly under-resourced and underinvested communities. Through our signature care packages, we create moments of joy, emotional connection, and nourishment that honor our Elders' physical, emotional, and mental well-being. We currently serve our community through two vital programs: Our foundational NYC program, home-delivering 700+ weekly care packages to Elders year-round Our LA emergency relief effort providing 1,000 emergency care packages to Elders affected by the wildfires WHY DECORATED BAGS MATTER Each bag you create becomes part of a holistic care package that nurtures both body and spirit. The Ranger Conservation Corps Internship
The Ranger Conservation Corps is a great urban environmental internship for high school students who are interested in the natural world or environmental issues.
Our Ranger Conservation Corps interns gain experience while working with the Urban Park Rangers on environmental restoration in natural areas in our flagship parks. Participants may go on exciting field trips including canoeing, overnight camping, and more. Interns receive community service hours, and the experience looks great on a college application!
We offer two Ranger Conservation Corps sessions each year (in the fall and spring), and each session lasts approximately eight (8) weeks. The program occurs one day a week, on a school day afternoon for 2 to 2.5 hours.
How to Apply
Ranger Conservation Corps session dates are flexible and registration is on a rolling basis year round.
If you're interested in applying to the Ranger Conservation Corps, the first step is to contact the Ranger Conservation Corps. Our Urban Park Rangers will work with you to get you placed at a park location with a schedule that works for you.

You may also call 311 (or 212-NEW-YORK, if you're outside of NYC) and ask for the Urban Park Rangers.

High School Integrators Volunteer Program
With MoMath preparing to open its spectacular new home on Sixth Avenue, we’re recruiting now for the summer 2026 Integrator cohort. This is your chance to be part of something extraordinary!
Each academic year, MoMath accepts a very limited number of mathematically-talented high school students for ongoing volunteer roles in the Museum. The Integrators program offers a unique chance to improve interpersonal and communication skills, explore mathematical concepts, and learn valuable job skills. MoMath Integrators interact with visitors (on the Museum floor and online) and train with renowned mathematicians, professional educators, interpreters, and managers. The applicant pool is highly competitive and many Integrators go on to top colleges.
Participants accrue volunteer hours that count toward most schools’ community service requirements. Please note that the High School Integrators Volunteer Program is unpaid.
High School Integrators Volunteer Program: Summer 2026
Students who participate in the summer program must commit to volunteer for five (eight-hour) days a week, including a Saturday or Sunday, for a minimum of eight weeks during the summer. The summer program typically runs from Memorial Day weekend to the weekend after Labor Day.
Admission is rolling and spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis – don’t delay, as all spots may be filled by the end of the year. Applications and all supporting materials for the Summer 2026 program are welcome now through April 2026.
The Integrators program provides an opportunity to inspire others and join a team that brings math to life. Download the application form at momath.org/integrators/apply.
